It hides, limits or renames the Cash on Delivery payment method at Shopify checkout. When an order matches a rule you set (a past refuser, a big cart, a large first order, a no-cod product, or a blocked region or city), COD is hidden for that checkout, so the shopper pays online or doesn't order. It also renames COD to a clear Arabic or English name.

It's built for stores selling in the Gulf (GCC): the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. Emirate rules use the UAE's emirate codes. In the other Gulf countries Shopify's checkout asks for no region, so use city rules there. No postcodes are needed anywhere.

No. Khaleeji COD only ever changes Cash on Delivery. Every other payment method stays exactly as you set it up.

By name. It recognises "Cash on Delivery", "Cash-on-Delivery", "Pay on Delivery", "COD", "C.O.D" and the Arabic names «الدفع عند الاستلام», «الدفع عند التسليم» and «الدفع نقدا عند الاستلام».

Nothing is hidden. If the settings are missing or can't be read, COD shows as normal. Khaleeji COD never hides all payment methods.

Khaleeji COD is built as a public Shopify app using Shopify Functions. Shopify allows public apps with Functions on every plan, not only Shopify Plus.

Yes, for the cart total, first-order, product, region and city rules. A guest checkout counts as a first order. The past-refuser rule needs the checkout to be linked to a customer record, because guests carry no tags.

Your shop's currency. If a shopper pays in another currency, the cart total is converted to your shop's currency before it's compared.

Yes. Shoppers whose checkout language is Arabic see «الدفع عند الاستلام» by default, and everyone else sees "Cash on Delivery". You can edit both names.

It finds orders placed in the last 60 days that were cancelled, keeps the ones paid by COD, and lists their customers. You click "Tag N customers" to add the cod-refused tag. Nothing is tagged before you confirm, and customers who already have the tag are skipped.

Number of cancelled COD orders that had shipped (Shopify recorded a fulfillment) × (your shipping cost out + your shipping cost back). You type in the two costs. Orders cancelled before they shipped cost no shipping, so they're left out. It's an estimate: packaging, fees and ad spend aren't included.

No customer data is kept outside your store. Your rules are saved inside your own Shopify store. The scan runs in your Shopify admin and only adds a tag when you ask it to.

It adds no scripts to your theme or storefront. The rule runs inside Shopify's checkout as a Shopify Function.

No. Shopify runs payment customizations on the online checkout only, not in POS or when you collect payment inside the admin. A draft order's checkout link does use the rules.

Yes. Shopify allows up to 25 payment customizations per store, and Khaleeji COD uses one for all its rules.
